Information for scholars
Are you a scholar at risk? Here is a short introduction to SAR-Sweden
What we do
The section aims to collectively raise awareness in Sweden on issues connected to academic freedom and scholars at risk. Its members share experience and best practice on hosting practices, and we work together to improve conditions for scholars at risk that are hosted in Sweden.
How do we support scholars at risk in Sweden?
We support scholars at risk primarily by improving possibilities to host scholars in Swedish universities. An example of this is joint fundraising through which the section has secured means to support Swedish universities that offer scholars at risk sanctuary in Sweden.
The section does not offer any direct support to scholars themselves; the idea is to use the available support functions at the host universities.
